Replacement Air Filter

The BMC High FB577/08 is a "Unique" series air filter, designed as a direct replacement for your vehicle's OEM filter. It is manufactured using BMC's "Full Moulding" system, creating a single-piece construction with no welded joints for enhanced durability. The filter media consists of multi-layered cotton gauze, treated with a specific grade of low-viscosity oil, and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This construction not only ensures a long lifespan and resistance to petrol fumes and oxidation but also facilitates a higher air flow rate compared to stock filters, while improving filtration efficiency down to 7 microns. The filter material is washable and can be regenerated using a BMC regeneration kit, making it a sustainable performance upgrade. Key technical specifications include an outside width/base inner diameter of 122mm, an outside length/base outside diameter of 220mm, and a height of H214mm. This BMC air filter is specifically compatible with the BMW 3 Series (E90, E91, E92, E93) M3 models equipped with the 4.0 V8 engine, producing 420 HP. It fits model years from 2007 to 2009 for the American market. Note that other applications may exist, and it is recommended to verify fitment by part number.
