Description

The SIERRAMARINE 174-3176 is an ignition stator designed for Mercury/Mariner 50 HP 4-cylinder electric start outboard engines from 1970-75, specifically models with serial numbers 2858814 through 4357639. This stator generates the necessary ignition voltage for a consistent spark, ensuring reliable performance. It replaces OEM part number 333-3176 and is noted to replace the high-side coil only. For optimal results, it is recommended to replace both the high and low-speed coils simultaneously.
