The Ramair RPF-1866 is a direct replacement panel air filter specifically engineered for the Ford Fiesta Mk7. It seamlessly integrates into your vehicle's original airbox, substituting the less efficient factory paper filter without requiring any modifications. This upgrade offers improved airflow to the engine and is both washable and reusable, providing a long-term solution. Unlike conventional paper filters that can restrict airflow, the RPF-1866 utilizes a unique dual-layer open-cell foam, also known as reticulated foam. This advanced material allows for significantly freer air passage while maintaining excellent dust and particle filtration. The foam is Ramair's proprietary twin-core Aeriform blend, developed for demanding motorsport applications, and is supported by a robust stainless steel cage. A rubber polymer surround ensures a precise and durable seal within the airbox. This filter is MAF safe, meaning its dual-layer foam is specifically designed and tested to prevent any fiber shedding that could contaminate the Mass Air Flow sensor. This is a crucial feature for aftermarket performance air filters. The filter dimensions are 196mm in length and 160mm in width, with a unique shape tailored to the OEM airbox.
