The PRL Replacement Panel Air Filter Upgrade is engineered for the 2016-2021 Honda Civic LX and EX 2.0L, and all 2022+ Honda Civic 2.0L models, including Si and CVT variants. It is constructed using a double-layer woven cotton media with deep, dense pleats, increasing the filtration surface area by 10%-15% to allow for a greater volume of air intake while maintaining superior filtration capabilities. The filter media is capable of trapping particles as small as 5 microns. The flexible rubber base is manufactured using a four-step, low-pressure injection molding process, ensuring a consistent, airtight seal, absorption of vibration, and resistance to heat cycles. This manufacturing method virtually eliminates rubber seepage, optimizing both airflow and aesthetics. Furthermore, a specially designed, lightweight filter lubricant is applied. This lubricant is vehicle sensor-friendly and creates a positive charge that attracts negatively charged dust particles to the stainless steel mesh, keeping the cotton media clear for maximum airflow.
