The Tekonsha breakaway cable and nylon pin assembly is designed for use with the Tekonsha #2010 Switch. This assembly features 48-inch wires and a nylon pin. Breakaway switches are legally required in some states and are intended for emergency use to automatically engage trailer brakes during an accidental breakaway.
