The MORryde Rubber Pin Box system (RPB72-1621HD-05) is a fifth-wheel trailer component designed to replace the Lippert 1621HD pin box on heavy-duty fifth-wheel trailers with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) between 14,001 and 18,000 lbs. It significantly enhances the towing experience by reducing the harsh, jerky back-and-forth motion (chucking and jerking) commonly associated with fifth-wheel towing. This is achieved through its patented rubber shear spring technology, which allows for horizontal planar motion (longitudinal and lateral) to absorb towing shocks. The result is a smoother, more comfortable in-cab ride, jerk-free starts and stops, and reduced wear and tear on both the RV and the tow vehicle.
