The Hybrid Racing Replacement Shifter Cables offer a significant upgrade for drivers demanding ultimate shifting performance in their 2008-2017 Honda Accord V6 models equipped with a manual transmission. These cables have been meticulously developed through years of track and street use, serving as a direct performance replacement for stock OEM components. Constructed with precision, these shifter cables feature solid rod ends, permanently lubricated cores, spherical bearings, and CNC machined 6061 aluminum end links and bushings. The use of upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes, which are prone to breaking on OEM cables, enhances longevity. The cables are heat-resistant up to 225°F and have a maximum bend radius of 5" for optimal life. Installation is simplified by the aluminum bushings, which also eliminate the flex associated with OEM plastic components, leading to a more precise shift. It is important to note that due to their performance-oriented design, an increase in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) may be transmitted into the cabin, though this is minimized in the Accord's cabin due to its interior structure. These cables are specifically designed for Accord V6 models and will NOT fit any Accord equipped with the K24 engine and manual transmission. They are a direct fit for part numbers 54310-TE1-A02 (08-12 Accord V6) and 54310-T3M-A01 (13-17 Accord V6). The kit includes two shifter cables, cotter pins, clips, and new hardware for the shifter cable mounting plates; the OEM center bracket and cable seal will be reused. Please be aware that these are special order items.
