Resonated Downpipes

The ARM S58DP Resonated Downpipes are engineered as a premier hardware upgrade for the G8X platform, designed to improve throttle response and create a more aggressive exhaust note without necessitating a full cat-back system replacement. By decreasing backpressure on the S58's twin-turbo setup, these downpipes facilitate quicker turbo spool and faster achievement of target boost pressures, which is particularly beneficial for tuned vehicles running increased boost levels. Constructed from durable SS304 stainless steel and backed by ARM Motorsports' Lifetime Warranty, the S58DP features a 3-inch diameter precision CNC machined turbo v-band flange. Customers can choose between a catless resonated option, which includes hollow resonators to tune the exhaust tone for a strong and aggressive sound while maximizing flow, or a catted version with a 200-cell high-flow catalyst that slightly moderates the sound and helps reduce exhaust odor, though it may still trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL) requiring a tune or delete kit. The longer front downpipe incorporates a reinforced flex section to absorb stress on the turbo during spirited driving. Both downpipes transition to a 2.75-inch 2-bolt connection, ensuring a secure fitment with OEM S58 midpipes or compatible aftermarket units. Installation hardware for the midpipe connection is included. This product is explicitly for Off-Road Use Only and is not legal for use on public roads in most jurisdictions.
