The MRT Engineering 13-18 Focus ST Ecoboost MRT RD (Resonator Delete) is a performance exhaust system crafted from corrosion-resistant 2.5" T304 stainless steel. Designed specifically for the 2013-2018 Focus ST 2.0L EcoBoost, this system replaces the stock resonator with a straight pipe, aiming to deliver a loud, deep muscle car sound. It offers a noticeable increase in exhaust loudness and tone during acceleration, with a rumbling idle, and is engineered to provide elevated sound without excessive drone, rated at 1/10 for drone level. Constructed in the USA, the MRT RD exhaust features a straight-through muffler design and 2.5" tubing to maximize exhaust gas flow, which the manufacturer states provides for noticeable performance gains. The sound level is rated at 5/10, and the drone level at 1/10, indicating a sportier exhaust note that is still manageable for daily driving.
