Description

The CTS Resonator Delete Kit is engineered to enhance the exhaust note of your compatible VW GTI or Audi A3 2.0T FWD vehicle. This kit replaces the factory resonator with a high-flow exhaust section, providing a deeper exhaust note without the need to replace the entire exhaust system. Constructed from durable T304 Stainless Steel, it ensures longevity. This resonator delete kit is compatible with both factory and aftermarket downpipes. Key features include its T304 Stainless Steel construction and the inclusion of a stainless steel exhaust band clamp. The primary benefit is an increase in exhaust sound without adding unwanted drone or causing a check engine light (CEL). Fitment details are critical for this part. It is compatible with the 2022+ MK8 Volkswagen GTI. For the 2015-2018 MK7/MK7.5 Volkswagen GTI, it requires 65mm exhaust piping only; it does NOT fit the “RABBIT EDITION” or 2019-2021 MK7.5 GTI models, which feature 60mm piping. The kit is also compatible with the 2015-2016 Audi A3 FWD 2.0T. However, it does NOT fit FACELIFT 8V.2 AUDI A3 MODELS or AUDI A3 cabriolet. It is essential to check your exhaust diameter before ordering, especially for VW GTI 2019-2021 models, as the part is non-returnable if the clamp does not fit a 60mm exhaust. The specified exhaust diameter requirement is 65mm.
