These lifters are intended for use in factory non-roller camshaft engine blocks and may require different length pushrods.

The Trick Flow® Hydraulic Lifters and Lash Adjusters (TFS-21400006) are designed to facilitate a roller cam conversion in engines originally equipped with a hydraulic flat tappet cam. These retro-fit roller lifters feature vertical-style link bars and are sold as a set of 16, with a hydraulic roller lifter style and a 0.874-inch outside diameter. These lifters are compatible with a range of Ford V8 engines, specifically within the Ford small block Windsor, Ford MODIFIED V8 GAS, FORD BOSS 302 V8 GAS, FORD CLEVELAND BOSS 351 V8 GAS, and FORD CLEVELAND V8 GAS engine families. Application years span from 1963 to 1993, covering engine sizes from 4.7L/289 up to 5.8L/351, and also include the 6.6L/400 engine size. It is important to note that due to their retro-fit design for factory non-roller camshaft engine blocks, different length pushrods may be required for proper installation and operation in some overhead valve engine configurations.
