The SCT Rev-X Tuner, bundled with a custom tune file from VMP Performance, is engineered to significantly enhance the power and performance of your 2018-2023 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L V8. This system optimizes critical engine parameters such as air/fuel ratio, ignition timing, and cam timing to unlock the full potential of your vehicle, especially when paired with aftermarket modifications. The Rev-X tuner is capable of storing up to 10 custom tunes and includes datalogging support for six months, allowing you to monitor your Mustang's performance and health. Additionally, it serves as a diagnostics tool, capable of reading and clearing DTC trouble codes. Installation is straightforward, estimated at approximately 15 minutes, making it a simple upgrade for most users. The kit includes the Rev-X Tuner, an HDMI/OBDII interface cable, a Micro USB cable, and your VMP Tuning custom tune file, which will be emailed to you within 3-5 business days after submitting required vehicle information including modifications, VIN, and SCT serial number. It is important to note that VMP Tuning will not tune out Check Engine Light (CEL) codes related to catalytic converter deletion or aftermarket catalytic converters. This tuner is specifically designed for 2018-2023 Ford Mustang GT models with the 5.0L V8 engine. VMP Custom Tunes are not legal for use in California or on other pollution-controlled vehicles, and the product will not ship to California addresses. If you update your tune file for new modifications, a Custom Tune Update must be purchased directly from VMP.
