The RTD BMW REVO1 LOCKOUT Solid Shifter is a universal kit for BMW models equipped with 5 and 6-speed Getrag and ZF manual transmissions. This short shifter is designed for standard H pattern or Dog Box configurations and fits E30, E36, E39, E46, E60, and E63 BMW models, including M3, M5, and M6 variants. This shifter boasts an innovative locking mechanism with adjustable side stops, allowing for precise tuning of gear engagement. An integrated torsion spring self-centers the lever, providing clear feedback during gear changes. The all-aluminum parts are precision-milled from billet Alumec 89 alloy, a material harder than Alu 7075, ensuring durability. It utilizes bronze bushings for extended longevity, replacing typical Teflon bushings. The base is constructed from welded Stainless Steel 304 Grade for increased rigidity. Installation is designed to be straightforward, with the kit coming completely assembled, including an S65 DSSR and all necessary fasteners. The unique patent-pending design is the first of its kind for BMW, offering a locking mechanism for reverse gear without the need for center console trimming or tunnel drilling. For those converting from SMG to manual transmissions, an E46 M3 DSSR is available as a separate purchase.
