The BBS RI-D wheel is a testament to cutting-edge material science and performance engineering. It is constructed from a one-piece forged extra-super duralumin, an advanced aluminum alloy typically found in aerospace applications. The RI-D features a minimalist 5-spoke design, introduced by BBS in 2011 as the world's first wheel utilizing extra-super duralumin. This innovative construction provides a balance of strength and reduced unsprung weight, crucial for optimizing vehicle performance. The wheel is available in various finishes, including Matte Black, Diamond Gold, Diamond Silver, and Diamond Black. Specific to the BBS RI098DBK model, the wheel measures 19x8.5 with an offset of 22 and a 5/112.0 bolt pattern. It also features PFS bore and weighs approximately 8.1kg. While the RI-D series offers a wide range of fitments, specific exclusions apply, particularly concerning certain Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Audi models with 5H P.C.D/112 bolt patterns, as well as other vehicle-specific fitment notes detailed by the manufacturer.
