The Nitto Ridge Grappler A/T tire represents a hybrid approach to performance, combining the rugged, high-traction capabilities of a mud-terrain tire with the comfort and tread life of an all-terrain. Its construction includes a variable-pitch center tread pattern that minimizes road noise for a smoother commute, while the staggered shoulder lugs and step-block edges provide reliable bite on loose or uneven surfaces. To further enhance durability, stone ejectors are integrated into the grooves to prevent drilling, and the block foundation is reinforced to limit tread flex during demanding maneuvers. This LT285/70R17 tire is built with an E load range and an advanced rubber compound engineered for versatility across changing weather conditions. A key feature is the dual-sidewall design, which offers two distinct aesthetic options—one bold and aggressive, the other a more traditional, refined look. The tire is designed for universal fitment, though professional installation is recommended given its 58-pound weight. While the Ridge Grappler is designed for wide application, please verify your wheel dimensions against the required 7.5-inch to 9-inch width range before installation to ensure safe operation.
