Description

This Advance Adapters kit adapts a GM TH400 4WD automatic transmission (with a 2.5" output stickout) to a GM NP205 transfer case. It is commonly used in heavy-duty GM trucks and SUVs from 1971-1984, particularly those with big-block V8 engines. The kit includes the adapter, linkage rod, bracket, a 32-spline NP205 long input gear, brake yoke, soft plug, bearing, snap ring, gaskets, seals, fastening hardware, and instructions. Installation requires machining of the NP205 transfer case for a larger input bearing.
