The Ringbrothers Hood Hinge Kit (MPN 1081 BF) is made from 6061 billet aluminum with a black anodized finish, designed as a direct replacement for 1955-1956 Chevy Tri-Five models with fiberglass hoods. It includes a hardware kit and gas struts, though the hood will open about 6 inches less than with stock hinges.
