Description

The Sealed Power MCL40U182 is a piston ring set designed for GM Gen III LS 6.2L V8 engines with a 4.000-inch bore and 4.000-inch stroke. This set features plasma-moly piston rings and includes a 1.0, 1.0, 2.0mm file-fit performance ring set.

Testing has shown that a larger second ring gap increases the top ring's stability for a better seal, while a larger escape path prevents inter-ring pressure buildup. File-to-fit gap recommendations are provided for the top, second, and oil ring rails.
