Rings v3 Sound Deadening Kit

The SoundSkins Rings v3 is a car speaker sound deadening kit engineered to enhance your audio system's performance. This kit aims to solve the issue of sound energy being lost within car doors by creating an acoustic seal between the speaker and the door panel, ensuring more sound is directed into the cabin. It also includes acoustic deadening panels to be placed behind the speakers to reduce standing waves that can cause distortion. The kit utilizes six flexible foam strips made from waterproof, closed-cell butyl rubber foam, each measuring 1" thick, 0.78" wide, and 27" long. These strips feature 3M adhesive backing for easy application and can be cut to size to fit any speaker shape or size, from 1" up to 6"x9". The kit also contains four wave foam backing sheets, each 0.31" thick, 4.7" wide, and 6.7" long, designed to be affixed to the door's outer skin behind the speaker to further improve mid-bass and bass response. Unlike products made with open-cell foam, which can absorb water and degrade over time, SoundSkins uses durable, closed-cell foam that resists moisture. The 3M adhesive ensures a secure and lasting bond to various surfaces.
