When conditions turn muddy, sandy, wet, or if riders just want a long lasting racing chain, RK offers a sealed supercross, motocross and off-road racing chain called MXU. RK's GB520MXU features ultra-thin UW-seals which is perfect for bikes with narrow clearance and delivers triple the life expectancy when compared to a non-sealed chain. RK's UW-Ring seals utilize triple barrier grease protection plus anti-debris technology. Anti-debris protection is vitally important to maximize chain wear life by eliminating debris friction between internal components. RK's UW seals also feature small contact points to reduce cold start drag.

MIA's Description

The RK GB520 MXU is a gold-colored, sealed-ring motocross chain designed for professional racers. It features chromoly steel construction with seamless rollers and bushings, and oversized special alloy pins for enhanced strength. The chain utilizes RK's exclusive HIT (Heat Induction Transfer) process for heat treatment and is equipped with UW-sealing rings to provide consistent power delivery and increased chain life.

This chain has a maximum tensile strength of 8,000 lbs and is suitable for off-road racing applications from 125cc to 500cc. It weighs approximately 3.04 lbs per 100 links, making it one of the lightest sealed off-road chains available. The included master link is a clip type.
