It seamlessly integrates with existing GNRL-STAGE2 or STAGE3 (Gen-1) systems to provide powerful rear sound projection for a more immersive off-road listening experience. The system is built with Element Ready™ principles, ensuring components withstand harsh outdoor elements like dust, water, mud, and UV rays, and meets ASTM B117 (salt/fog) and ASTM D4329 (UV exposure) testing standards. The kit features rugged RM1652W-MB mini wake tower enclosures made from high-density polyethylene with UV inhibitors. Inside, precision 1-inch Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) dome tweeters deliver crisp highs, while 6.5-inch injection-molded, mineral-filled polypropylene woofers utilize VAST technology for increased cone area and deeper bass response. The integrated concealed crossover (ICC) protects the system, and Klippel-optimized design ensures clean, distortion-free output. Installation is simplified with heavy-duty PM-CL3B cast-aluminum roll-bar mounting clamps and a plug-and-play RFGNRL-RSW16 wiring harness, designed for a no-drilling, no-cutting fit. This kit is specifically designed as an add-on and will not function as a standalone rear speaker upgrade with a factory stereo. It is crucial to check compatibility before purchase, as several configurations are explicitly excluded. The GNRL-REAR is incompatible with Polaris General models equipped with the Ride Command system, as it prevents the necessary dash-kit installation. Additionally, vehicles with the factory heater option are incompatible due to potential interference with the rear speaker configuration. The Polaris General rear storage rack is also not compatible as it physically obstructs the rear speaker mounting locations.
