The MICHELIN® Road 6 rear tire is engineered for sport touring riders seeking superior performance and confidence in various conditions. Built on two decades of MICHELIN expertise, this tire combines innovative technology for enhanced grip, durability, and stability. This rear radial tire features 100% MICHELIN® Silica Technology™ tread compounds and the new MICHELIN® Water Evergrip Technology™ tread pattern, resulting in 15% more grip in wet conditions compared to its predecessor. This translates to more confident cornering and shorter braking distances when the weather is challenging. Additionally, the Road 6 offers a 10% longer tread life than the Road 5, providing greater value and less frequent replacements. Further enhancing its performance, the newly applied MICHELIN® 2CT+ Technology™ provides improved rigidity when the tire is leaned into a corner. This technology also contributes to enhanced stability, particularly under strong acceleration or heavy braking, ensuring a predictable and controlled riding experience. The rubber compound reaches operating temperature quickly, making it suitable for both street and occasional track use.
