The Ohlins Road & Track Coilover system is engineered to elevate the performance of vehicles like the Nissan GT-R R35, offering a blend of track capability and street comfort. Central to its design is the patented Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology, which ensures consistent damping performance during both compression and rebound. This technology, combined with a monotube damper architecture, provides enhanced response and heat dissipation. These coilovers allow for precise ride height tuning, adjustable via the strut body rather than the spring perch. Drivers can fine-tune their suspension with over 20 clicks of damping adjustment, catering to both road and track configurations. The inverted front strut design contributes to reduced unsprung weight and a more responsive steering feel. The shock bodies are constructed from aluminum, promoting lightweight performance and better heat management during demanding use. They have been subjected to ISO 9227 corrosion salt spray testing to ensure durability.
