Road & Track Dual Flow Valve Coilover Kit

The Öhlins Road & Track DFV shock absorber kit is engineered to elevate the performance and driving dynamics of your Mazda MX-5 (ND/RF) models from 2016 to 2021. The Road & Track range is favored by both manufacturers seeking the ultimate track car and aftermarket customers aiming to significantly enhance chassis performance. At the core of this kit is Öhlins' unique Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology. This innovative system allows for rapid adjustment of damper stiffness with a simple turn of a golden knob, switching between race mode and road mode. In race mode, all four areas of the damper—low- and high-speed compression and rebound damping—are adjusted for optimal track performance. Conversely, setting the dampers to road mode provides a more relaxed and comfortable driving experience for everyday use, with enhanced grip and quicker response times. These coilovers are constructed with aluminum monotube shock absorbers for efficient heat dissipation and consistent damping performance. They feature 1-way 25-click adjustable compression and rebound damping, allowing for precise tuning of suspension characteristics. The front spring rate is 70 N/mm, and the rear spring rate is 40 N/mm. Öhlins specifies an approximate lowering adjustment range of 5-30 mm for both front and rear.
