Show original supplier description

The BD Diesel Roadmaster FORD 10R80 Transmission & Converter Package is engineered to enhance the reliability and longevity of 2018-2020 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with the 5.0L V8 engine and 4WD. This rebuilt transmission directly addresses common failure points found in the OEM 10R80, specifically the leaking CDF Drum, by incorporating a revised CDF drum with a retaining feature to prevent sleeve failure. The package includes a brand-new modified valve body that increases line pressure by approximately 30%, significantly improving clutch holding capability. A ProForce torque converter with new friction material is also included to complement the transmission's performance. Further enhancing performance and durability, the RoadMaster transmission features a new deep sump transmission oil pan that adds an extra 2 quarts of fluid capacity. This increased capacity aids in regulating transmission fluid temperatures, extending fluid service life, and reducing the risk of overheating. The transmission also uses new OEM clutches and steels for optimal engagement and durability, promising smooth and quick shifts without long shift delays or flares. Installation time for this package is estimated at 13 hours. The product comes with a 24-month parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty. It is legal for sale and use in all 50 states and does not require an EO in California.
