Baseplates are vehicle-specific and integrate into the frame and undercarriage, connecting to existing holes and fasteners for quick and easy installation. Each design is computer-tested using "Finite Element Analysis" to ensure structural integrity and maximum strength. They are custom-made for specific vehicle year, make, and model, with over 1,000 different baseplates available. The baseplates are powder-coated for an extremely durable finish and are designed and crafted in the USA from raw steel. Late model baseplates feature front arms that are easily removable when the vehicle is not being towed. There are two types: Direct-Connect (for motorhome-mounted tow bars, eliminating the need for a crossbar) and Crossbar-Style (accommodates Roadmaster tow bars and accessories using a crossbar and/or quick-disconnect system, for car-mounted tow bars).
