Roadmaster baseplates are vehicle-specific, integrated into the frame and undercarriage, connecting to existing holes for quick and easy installation. They are 30% quicker to install on average than other brands and are computer-tested using "Finite Element Analysis" (FEA) to ensure structural integrity and maximum strength. Custom-made for specific vehicle year, make, and model, Roadmaster offers over 1,000 different baseplates fitting nearly every towable vehicle made in the last 25 years. Every baseplate is powder-coated for a durable finish. Roadmaster also manufactures "Hidden Baseplates" with easily removable front arms for when the vehicle isn’t being towed. All products are designed and crafted in the USA from raw steel. There are two types: Direct-Connect (for motorhome-mounted tow bars, eliminating crossbar) and Crossbar-Style (for car-mounted tow bars, accommodating crossbar and/or quick-disconnect system).
