Overview

The Trail-Gear Rock Defense™ bumper is a front bumper constructed from 1020 DOM steel with a .120" wall thickness. This material offers superior dent resistance compared to HREW tubing and prevents seam splitting. The bumper features a winch plate with mounting holes for most 5000-9500 lb low-profile winches and smaller 9.0R Warn competition winches, along with a shackle receiver for recovery.

This bumper is designed for 1989-1995 Toyota Pickup and 1990-1995 4Runner models. It is specifically noted that this product fits 4WD models only and is not compatible with 2WD vehicles. Additionally, turn signal mounting tabs are not included, and the bumper comes in an unpainted steel finish. It requires a hawse-type fairlead and is not intended for use with a body lift or rated for towing.

The Trail-Gear Rock Defense™ bumper is engineered for rugged off-road use, constructed from high-strength 1020 DOM steel with a .120" wall thickness. This material choice ensures exceptional dent resistance and durability, preventing the seam splitting often seen in lesser HREW tubing, making it one of the most robust bumpers available. The bumper's design includes a winch plate pre-drilled for most 5000-9500 lb low-profile winches and smaller 9.0R Warn competition winches. Minor trimming of the grill may be necessary for larger winch installations. A integrated shackle receiver provides a secure anchor point for winch or strap recoveries, enhancing recovery capabilities. This Rock Defense™ bumper is specifically designed for the 1989-1995 Toyota Pickup and the 1990-1995 Toyota 4Runner. Crucially, it is exclusively for 4WD models and will NOT fit 2WD vehicles. The bumper comes in an unpainted steel finish and does not include turn signal mounting tabs. Compatibility is limited to hawse-type fairleads; roller-type fairleads will not work. Furthermore, this bumper is not intended for use with a body lift and is not rated for towing purposes.
