Overview

The Rock Krawler RRD 2.625 Inch Shocks feature a fluted aluminum body for weight reduction without sacrificing strength. This design provides a cooling surface area greater than most 3-inch bodied shocks. The shock bodies are treated with a military-grade hard anodized coating for corrosion resistance. They utilize a high-quality DU bearing and a 1-inch Nitrotec Steel shaft, which is bare (unlike chrome-plated shafts) to prevent pitting or flaking that could damage seals. A billet aluminum valve circuit with digressive valving controls dampening, and redundant sealing technology keeps the shock oil contained. The shock oil is formulated for fade-free dampening and smooth rebounds, with a high viscosity index and shear stability. A custom moly piston wear band reduces shock body wear. These features result in a lighter shock that cools twice as fast as competitors' 2.5-inch steel body counterparts, offering fade-resistant performance. All Rock Krawler RRD Shocks come with a 6-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
