The Rock Krawler RRD 2.625 Remote Reservoir with Fast CD Adjusting Shocks feature a fluted aluminum body for significant weight reduction without compromising strength. This design makes it the lightest remote reservoir shock in its class, while also offering a larger surface area than many 3-inch bodied shocks for improved cooling efficiency. The fluting also enhances the structural integrity of the aluminum cylinders, ensuring they are as strong as, if not stronger than, traditional steel 2.50 shock bodies.

To ensure durability and minimize wear, the shock bodies are treated with a military-grade hard anodized coating, providing long-lasting protection against corrosion. The Fast Compression Damper Adjustment Shock is engineered for both tuneability and ease of adjustment, allowing users to quickly and easily increase compression dampening by up to 30 percent with infinite settings. These shocks are equipped with high-quality DU bearings and a robust 1-inch 17-4 PH hardened stainless steel shaft that is hard chrome plated and polished.

The hard anodized billet aluminum valve circuit, combined with multi-stage valving, delivers precise damping control. Redundant sealing technology is incorporated to prevent shock oil leaks, and a specially formulated shock oil with a high viscosity index and shear stability ensures fade-free damping performance. Additionally, a custom solid Teflon piston wear band significantly reduces shock body wear, even under extreme temperatures.
