The Rock Slide Engineering’s 3rd Generation Step Slider functions as both a trail-rated rock slider and a power step for easy vehicle access. The design features a curved step that minimizes spacing between the rear extension and the fender flare, with an additional 2 inches on the back end of the step for improved rear door access. It incorporates smart motor technology and eliminates the gas strut to increase motor longevity and ensure consistent deployment and retraction, even in cold weather. A sleep mode is built-in to minimize battery drain. The slider protects the rocker panel, and the step deploys 12 inches down from the body of the slider when the door is opened, automatically retracting flush when the door is closed.
