When the stock airbox is removed on single-carburetor Honda Chop models, the carburetor may struggle to create sufficient vacuum, leading to turbulent airflow and unsteady fuel delivery. This velocity stack addresses that issue by effectively lengthening the carb throat. This allows the engine to maintain vacuum beyond the slide, reduces air turbulence, and results in a smoother, more consistent delivery of air and fuel to your engine. This kit includes one single carb velocity stack, one filtration screen, three stainless #6-32 set screws, and an Allen key for installation. It is important to note that this is not a plug-and-play item. Proper tuning and re-jetting of your carbs are required to achieve optimal results and ensure the component does not harm your bike. The manufacturer also suggests using Loctite on the threads during installation. They are compatible with Honda Shadow VT600/VLX600 (1999-2007), Honda Shadow VT750 Spirit Single Carb Models VT750C2/F (2007-2010), Non-EFI Honda Aero VT750 (2004-2009), and Kawasaki Vulcan VN800 (1995-2005). Additionally, you will need to purchase a separate performance jet kit for your specific motorcycle to achieve the desired results, as generic online kits may not be compatible.
