Overview

The Metal Tech 4x4 Lexus GX470 Rock Sliders are designed to protect your vehicle while providing a functional step. These sliders are constructed from 2x2x.188 box tube for the main body and 1.5x1.5x.188 box tube for support legs. They feature custom laser-cut mounting feet made from 1/4" plate with a gusset designed for rock lights, and 1.75x.120 wall DOM SRA tube for rub rails. The step itself also acts as a structural gusset made from 1/8" plate.

These rock sliders are a complete bolt-on unit and include all necessary mounting hardware. They are designed to work with both KDSS and non-KDSS equipped GX470 models. The estimated installation time is 1.5 hours.

The Metal Tech 4x4 Lexus GX470 Rock Sliders offer robust protection for your vehicle's rocker panels, doubling as a functional step. This design, trademarked by Metal Tech 4x4, is inspired by their popular slider rails found on Toyota Land Cruiser and FJ Cruiser models. The mounting feet are custom laser-cut from 1/4" plate and include a gusset that can also serve as a mounting point for auxiliary rock lights. The rub rails are made from durable 1.75x.120 wall DOM SRA tube, providing excellent rocker protection and serving as a reliable point for hi-lift jack recovery. Installation is straightforward as these are a complete bolt-on unit, requiring no drilling and including all necessary hardware. The product also features a unique structural gusset for the step, made from 1/8" plate with dimple-dyed reinforcement for superior weight distribution. These sliders are engineered to be compatible with both KDSS and non-KDSS Lexus GX470 models from 2003-2009. The estimated installation time is approximately 1.5 hours. Metal Tech 4x4 offers a limited lifetime warranty on these rock sliders; if a slider is bent, Metal Tech 4x4 will repair or replace it upon return. The sliders are typically shipped raw, with an optional powder coating service available for an additional charge and processing time. All Metal Tech 4x4 and Outpost Offroad sliders are made in-house and are subject to lead times if not in stock, with sliders typically requiring 4-6 weeks for production.
