Rocker Arm Trunnion Upgrade Kit

The BTR TK002 rocker arm trunnion upgrade kit is engineered to replace the failure-prone OEM needle bearings found in many GM LS and LT engines. This V2 kit features a captive bearing design with a self-oiling axle, ensuring priority lubrication to the trunnion itself. The inner race is constructed from durable 52100 heat-treated bearing steel, a significant upgrade from the more common 8620 carburized steel used in V1 kits and some OEM applications. By replacing the stock needle bearings with this robust captive bearing system, the BTR trunnion kit enhances reliability and longevity. It also eliminates the restrictive travel stops present in the original OE rocker design, allowing for a full 360 degrees of rotation. This is particularly beneficial for engines equipped with higher lift camshafts, preventing potential binding and damage. This kit is compatible with all stock LS and LT rocker arms, fitting Gen 3/Gen 4 LS and Gen 5 LT applications including but not limited to LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, LS7, LM7, LQ4, LQ9, Gen 4 Truck Engines, LT1, LT4, L83, L86, L84, and L87. Please note that stock rocker arm bolts are slightly too long and cannot be used; optional bolts are available. Additionally, interference with the passenger valve cover baffle may occur on some early style (1997-2003) valve covers.
