This cargo box is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty from Yakima, which applies to the original retail purchaser and covers defects in materials and workmanship. However, the warranty excludes issues arising from normal wear and tear, commercial use, accidents, unauthorized modifications, off-road driving (defined as rough, washed out, boulder, and rut-strewn backroads), impact, theft, extreme weather events, UV damage, and fabric tears.
