The Rockford Fosgate T1692 is a 6"x9" 2-way full-range speaker, designed to deliver premium sound quality as a high-powered OEM replacement. These speakers are built to offer superior sound and longevity within your vehicle. The design incorporates advanced elements, including an aluminum dome tweeter with a polyurethane suspension and a carbon fiber and polypropylene injection molded cone. The butyl rubber surround on the midrange provides durability and optimal sound performance. Key specifications include a 4-Ohm nominal impedance, 100 Watts RMS power handling (200 Watts Max), and a frequency response of 50Hz to 22kHz, with a sensitivity of 90dB. The integrated concealed crossover (ICC) eliminates the need for external black boxes, offering a cleaner installation. These speakers are sold in pairs and come with grilles. Rockford Fosgate employs technologies such as VAST Surround for increased radiating cone area and an Offset Cantilever Coaxial Mounted Tweeter to eliminate frequency response anomalies.
