The Rock Jock CE-9701B is a replacement rod end boot crafted from durable rubber, designed to protect the grease within your vehicle's tie rod and drag link ends. This boot offers universal application for common rod ends and is specifically intended as a direct replacement for all four rod end boots found in the Rock Jock CE-9701 Currectlync Steering System. The kit includes one articulating rubber boot and one 8-inch zip tie for secure attachment. Installation involves removing the old boot and spiral clip, then fitting the new boot and securing it with the provided zip tie. Compatibility is key for this component. The CE-9701B is designed to fit the following Jeep models equipped with the CE-9701 Currectlync Steering System: TJ Wrangler, TJ Wrangler Unlimited (LJ), XJ Cherokee, MJ Comanche, and ZJ Grand Cherokee. However, it is crucial to note that this boot is NOT intended for use with any JL, JT, or JK Currectlync Steering Systems. Rock Jock recommends using hi-moly lube, non-synthetic grease with these rod ends.
