Roll Center Ball Joint Kit

This is ideal for racing classes that do not permit aftermarket control arms. Should you choose to upgrade to SLR tubular arms later, you can retain these spherical-jointed OEM arms. The kit replaces your original outer balljoint with a teflon-lined spherical bearing and incorporates the SLR steering plate. This setup corrects the roll center by 35mm, adjusts the bump-steer accordingly, and allows for fine-tuning of both. It also quickens the steering ratio by approximately 40%, reducing the need for custom quick-steer racks. The adjustable Ackerman system enables configuration for race, autocross, or drift use. Fitment is determined by the steering knuckle used; for instance, if using E36 knuckles on an E30, the E36 kit is required. The kit is pre-configured for race or drift use out-of-the-box, with adjustments possible after installation. Lollipop selection depends on the control arm: factory E30/E36 and SLR Chromoly control arms use a round insert, while factory E46 arms use a hex insert. Note that standard Delrin Lollipop bushings may not work with factory E46 control arms without modification.
