It incorporates a patented built-in tailgate locking system, a durable torsion spring drive, and a ratchet-style latching mechanism that allows for multiple open positions. For added convenience and security, it includes a keyed, twist-lock latch with a unique key slot cover to prevent freezing, and integrated drain channels to effectively funnel moisture away from the truck bed.
