The Competition Engineering C3240 is a 10-point roll cage designed to enhance driver protection and chassis rigidity for 2005-2014 Ford Mustang models. It meets NHRA and IHRA requirements for vehicles running 10.99 or quicker with modified firewalls or floorboards, making it suitable for track and competition use. The roll cage is crafted from premium 1-5/8-inch OD steel tubing, available in mild steel or aircraft-quality ASM-T-6736 chrome moly. It features a polished chrome finish for aesthetics and corrosion resistance. The tubing is CNC bent, mandrel formed, and has notched ends to ensure a precise fit and ease of installation. The comprehensive assembly includes a main hoop, top hoop, downstruts, crossbrace, diagonal supports, door bars, rear struts, floor plates, and weld joint gussets for complete integration with the vehicle's interior. Welding is required for installation, and professional installation is recommended for optimal results and safety.
