The BMW Genuine Parts 82712457810 is a roof rack base system engineered to provide a secure and versatile foundation for carrying additional cargo on your F44 2-Series Gran Coupe. This kit includes two crossbars with integrated feet, the required mounting hardware, and an installation tool, allowing for a direct fit to the factory mounting points located in the rain gutter trim. This base system serves as the essential starting point for expanding your vehicle's carrying capacity without compromising passenger comfort or trunk space. It is specifically designed for 2021-2024 F44 2-Series Gran Coupe models, including the 228i Gran Coupe (FWD), 228i xDrive Gran Coupe, and M235i xDrive Gran Coupe. Once installed, this base system enables the attachment of a wide array of optional BMW and compatible aftermarket carriers and accessories. These can include ski carriers, kayak carriers, bike carriers, surfboard mounts, and roof storage boxes, allowing you to customize your vehicle for various lifestyles and seasons.
