The spoiler is supplied primed, necessitating a final paint application in the desired body color or a gloss black finish to complete the installation. Important fitment notes apply: This spoiler is compatible with various Golf GTI / GTI TCR (Sedan) models, but *not* with the GTI Clubsport / Clubsport S. For Golf GTI TCR models, the factory roof spoiler edge must be removed before installation. It also fits Golf R / R-Performance / R Line / GTD / GTE / E-Golf (Sedan) models, but *not* the Variant. For Golf R-Performance models, the factory roof spoiler edge must also be removed prior to installation. Installation requires specific adhesive and cleaner (e.g., D-172-200-A2 and D-009-401-04 or Isopropanol), which are not included in the kit and must be sourced separately from a Volkswagen dealer.
