Overview

The Eagle Specialty Products 13005030 is a rotating assembly kit designed for Small Block Chevy engines. This kit includes a 3.750-inch cast steel crankshaft, hypereutectic pistons with a -7cc flat top volume, and 5.700-inch I-beam connecting rods with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts. It also comes with plasma-moly rings and King SI rod and main bearings.

The Eagle Specialty Products 13005030 Rotating Assembly Kit is engineered for pump gas, naturally aspirated, street vehicle applications using Small Block Chevy engines. This comprehensive kit provides a 3.750-inch cast steel crankshaft, which offers improved strength over cast iron, and hypereutectic pistons featuring a -7cc flat top design with two valve reliefs and a +7.00cc piston head volume. The kit also includes 5.700-inch I-beam connecting rods made from forged 5140 steel, equipped with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts and silicon-bronze rod bushings for low friction. Additional components within this kit feature plasma-moly standard gap rings, King SI rod and main bearings, and full floating piston pins with retaining clips. The cast steel crankshaft is micropolished and includes a .092-inch fillet radius for enhanced strength and rigidity. Eagle Specialty Products emphasizes quality control, using multi-stage heat treating, sonic testing, magna-fluxing, and x-ray inspection to ensure product reliability. This assembly is designed for a 383 cubic inch displacement with a 4.030-inch bore. It is important to note that minor clearancing of the block at the pan rails may be required for installation. Furthermore, the assembly must be balanced by a qualified machine shop before use. This rotating assembly is suitable for use up to 500 horsepower.
