Rotors and Pad Kit Front - Chevy 1500 08-13

The Hawk Performance Talon Brake Rotor and Pad Kit is a performance brake upgrade. It includes Hawk brake pads (HPS 5.0 compound or LTS compound) and Talon rotors. The HPS 5.0 compound is a Ferro-Carbon compound offering aggressive torque, great rotor and pad wear, smooth, predictable control, high rates of deceleration, and consistent release characteristics, with an operating temperature range of 100-750°F and an optimal temperature range of 100-550°F. The LTS (Light Truck and SUV) compound dramatically improves stopping power and fade resistance for light trucks and SUVs. The Talon Drilled & Slotted rotors are high carbon, built to OE specifications, and feature a DTC-curved slot design. They are engineered, machined, finished, and coated in ISO certified facilities in North America from Grade 3000 Cast Iron with a black Magni coating for corrosion resistance. This kit significantly boosts stopping power by 20-40% compared to stock brakes, reduces braking noise, and the installation is moderately easy with no drilling required.
