The 034Motorsport 365mmx34mm 2-Piece Floating Front Brake Rotor Upgrade Kit for the Gen 1 & 1.5 Audi R8 is a complete replacement brake rotor kit designed to work flawlessly with the factory front calipers. Each rotor weighs approximately 23lbs, reducing rotational weight by 1.5lbs per corner compared to the factory 24.5lb rotors. The rotor retains proper thermal mass and utilizes 72 directionally curved vanes for efficient heat dissipation. The central hat is made of 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum, and the disc is constructed from a proprietary metal alloy for immense braking temperatures. The J-Slot slots clean the pad surface and allow hot pad outgassing, while reducing braking noise. The floating mount system uses high-strength alloy steel bobbins, allowing for safe expansion and contraction from heat.
