The 034Motorsport 2-Piece Floating Front Brake Rotor Upgrade Kit for the BMW F8x M2/M3/M4 is a complete replacement 380mmx30mm brake rotor kit, designed to work flawlessly with the factory front calipers. Each rotor weighs approximately 23.8lbs, reducing rotational weight by 0.2lbs per corner over the factory 24.0lbs rotors. It retains proper thermal mass and utilizes 72 directionally curved vanes for efficient heat dissipation. The central hat is made of 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum, and the disc is constructed from a proprietary metal alloy for high temperature resistance. The J-Slot slots clean the pad and surface, reduce contaminants, allow hot pad outgassing, and reduce braking noise. The floating mount system uses high strength alloy steel bobbins for axial and radial float, allowing for safe expansion and contraction from heat.
