The Standard Ignition AL-171 is a distributor rotor designed to replace worn or damaged components in ignition systems. It is constructed with a high dielectric-strength engineering polymer to prevent breakdown and arcing, ensuring long life. The rotor features a noise-suppressing coating to prevent electrical interference with radios and other electronic circuits.

This distributor rotor is made with solid brass segments that resist pitting and erosion for extended durability. It includes a stainless steel spring to ensure positive contact with the distributor cap brush while resisting corrosion and wear. The AL-171 has a black finish and a push-on mount type. It is backed by a 36-month or 36,000-mile limited warranty.
