The K&N E-1090 E-Series Round Replacement Air Filter is engineered to be a direct replacement for your vehicle's factory filter, aiming to maximize performance. Its layered design and oiled cotton gauze media are built to enhance airflow while effectively trapping contaminants, contributing to an increase in horsepower. This filter is washable and reusable, designed for longevity and is supported by K&N's 10-Year/Million Mile Limited Warranty. Key specifications include an 8-inch (203 mm) inside diameter, a 10-inch (254 mm) outside diameter, and a height of 2.313 inches (59 mm). The filter material is cotton gauze, and it requires 0.94 oz (28 ml) of re-oiling. It features an open top style with no top or flange material and no inner wire. K&N suggests servicing the filter every 50,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. This air filter is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including various American Motors models (AMX, Concord, Gremlin, Hornet, Pacer, Spirit), Dodge Colts, and numerous Ford models from the mid-1960s through the late 1970s, such as the Mustang, Country Sedan, Country Squire, Custom, Custom 500, Fairlane, Falcon, Galaxie, Galaxie 500, LTD, Maverick, Mercury Comet, Montego, Monterey, Montclair, Park Lane, Ranchero, Torino, and Thunderbird.
