Description

This kit is a direct bolt-on rear drum to disc brake conversion for 1955-1968 GM full-size vehicles with a 10/12 bolt axle pattern. It provides up to 30% more braking power and a significant improvement over stock drum brakes with a factory look. It includes single-piston cast iron calipers with built-in parking brakes, zinc-plated calipers with dust boots, DOT Flex Hoses, axle shims, new hard lines, semi-metallic brake pads (D347), stainless steel shim washers, spacers, E-coated mounting brackets, and two 10.5” diameter heavy-duty vented, drilled, and slotted rotors (black finish). All hardware with parking brake cable adapters is included, and simple bolt-on installation instructions are provided.
