The Cusco RS Rear LSD is a 1.5-way limited-slip differential designed to enhance performance for spirited driving and track use. This differential locks both rear wheels under acceleration and provides 50% lock under deceleration, offering improved control and feedback when cornering. It features durable chrome molybdenum steel construction for both the housing and gears.

This 1.5-way limited-slip differential ensures both rear wheels are locked under acceleration, and maintains approximately 50% lock during deceleration. This mechanism provides enhanced control and feedback when entering and exiting corners, ultimately contributing to faster lap times and a more exhilarating driving experience. Constructed from robust chrome molybdenum steel for both the housing and gears, this LSD is built for durability in street use while being suitable for track applications. The housing is designed with large oil windows to optimize lubrication and oil flow. Internally, the 1.5-way RS LSD utilizes coil springs positioned between pressure rings, which enable immediate torque development and full engagement under acceleration, with about 50% engagement during deceleration. This coil spring system promotes faster, smoother engagement compared to traditional cone plate designs. Furthermore, the Cusco RS Rear 1.5 Way LSD is convertible to a 2-way LSD and offers complete customization. Drivers can adjust the clutch pack order and spring tension presets to their specific preferences. Conversion to a 2-way unit is achieved by rotating the center spline to engage both acceleration and deceleration phases.
